Designed and manufactured in Australia and specifically shaped to match the unique design of our shoes, the Vaypor series is created for those who demand the best.

Built with a contoured carbon fiber core, for the ultimate in efficiency and support, Vaypor Series innersoles are wrapped in a dual-density EVA foam cover for a comfortable ride with fantastic durability.

Offered in three widths (standard, wide/Asian and double wide), three arch support heights; low, medium and high, the Vaypor Series innersoles by Cobra9 deliver more evenly distributed peak forefoot pressure for greater support and reduction of hot spots and discomfort.

Lightweight and with an incredibly low stack, the Vaypor Series innersoles are perfect for any rider of any level and across the entire Bont Cycling range.

Riot and Vaypor Series innersoles are compatible across the entire range of Bont Cycling shoes and are suitable for standard, wide/Asian and double wide widths.

NOTE: Vaypor and Riot Series innersoles feature straight edge shaping and lower stack height for an improved fit inside all Bont Cycling shoes. The width of these innersoles may appear narrower than your current Bont Cycling innersoles which is intentional by design. 

Unsure what arch height you need? The information below is a great starting point however, it's best to make this decision based off your specific requirements:

  • Low Arch Profile Vaypor (Black Colour) – Suitable for cyclists with flat/low arches with significantly low foot flexibility (feet remain flat even when non weight bearing or when doing a calf raise).
  • Medium Arch Profile Vaypor (Red Colour) – Suitable for low arch feet that are flexible (the arch lifts when non weight bearing or during a calf raise). Also suitable for normal arch profile feet with normal foot flexibility.
  • High Arch Profile Vaypor (Blue Colour) – Suitable for high arch feet and medium arch feet that are flexible.

Warning: Bont Cycling innersoles must be removed prior to heat molding to avoid damage. Once the shoes are removed from the oven, they can be fitted before placing your feet into the warm shoes.

    I have a high arch and purchased the blue soles for my Vaypor G. This gives my feet perfect support and makes the comfort in my Bont shoes even better than before.

    Purchased these with a pair of bonts. Changed to bont after riding sidi's with solestar carbon innersoles for years. The extra width sizing available with the bonts made for a perfect fit. These cobra innersoles are cheaper than solestar with the option of 3 arch heights let's you dial in a good fit without seeing a podiatrist... should have changed years ago.

    Arch support could be higher/further forward

    I initially had an issue installing the included metatarsal dome and Bont support were very understanding and helpful. Tip: scan the QR code on the packaging for USEFUL instructions! The reason I gave 3-stars: I have high arches, and the blue, high arch support is not high enough for me. Secondly, it feels too far back towards my heel. I would prefer it further forward. This is the problem with an 'out-of-the-box' solution as opposed to something more customisable. Nevertheless, they seem well constructed, and the sole material is nicely grippy under foot. Alas, just not quite the right fit for me.

    Perfect for my Vaypors

    Expensive insoles but the solution I’ve been looking for for a while, suddenly my Vaypor’s are as comfortable as I always thought they should be, be careful reading and getting the right level of support but for my flat wide feet this is the most comfy i’ve ever been, and i’ve tried a lot of things over the past 30 years!

Be advised all measurements shown in the size charts above are listed in millimetres and refer to all current models purchased after 2015.

NEW SIZING METHOD

To find your Bont Cycling shoe size, download and print our all-new sizing page in A4 or Letter and follow the instructions exactly as listed. Mark with a straight edge your longest toe and widest part of your foot. Double check the length and width with a ruler to confirm your measurements. Be advised, this is a newly developed sizing page so please send any feedback to our team by clicking the red 'speech bubble' in the corner of the page.

ORIGINAL

To find your size, place a piece of paper on a flat surface and place it directly up against a wall. Stand on the paper and ensure you have a 1mm gap between your heel and the wall. Plant your foot firmly on the ground and slowly roll your weight forward and onto the forefoot. For the most effective longest toe measurement, your heel should lift off the ground slight. Look down and take the measurement from the wall edge of the paper to your longest toe. Record the length. With your foot still in place, mark the widest points of the inner and outer edges of your feet. Measure the width across the widest part of your foot and record the number in millimeters. Repeat this step for both feet.

Once the measurements have been taken, use the Foot Length Range on the size chart to find your size. The Last Length measurements shown on the chart are the exact length of the last that we use to build the shoes. This correlates to the precise internal measurement of the shoe.

Following selection of your size in EU or USA, move downward to select the most appropriate width. We recommend adding 1mm to find the most appropriate width. For example, you are looking at a Vaypor S and have determined your best shoe size is 45 and your feet measure 105mm (left) and 107mm (right) wide, with an additional 1mm added, you would still fit within the Standard Range. If your feet measure wide than 109/110mm (size 45/10.5) you should consider Wide fit.

NOTE: The stated size width range does not reflect the actual width of the shoe. Bont Cycling shoes are designed with structural support throughout the entire length including the forefoot and as such, the measured shoe width is designed to appropriately support the foot within the shoe. The width of the shoe will almost always be narrower than your foot which is intentional in order to provide the necessary support.

Please also keep in mind Bont Cycling shoes are designed around an anatomically correct last suitable for cycling however, this does not mean they are built in the 'bare foot' running shoe style.
