Riot+ Black/White

I'm still getting used to the shoes, as they are very different from the shoes I wore previously. If you want a stiff shoe, this one's for you! My only complaint is that I bought a clearance, non-returnable item, and i should have bought the next size up. My feet do fit, but just barely, and the adjustments that the heat forming allow for didn't quite make them roomy enough to be perfect. I think over time i may get used to them, but if I'd been able to try some on before buying, I would likely have bought the larger ones and be a little happier now.

I don't haven't tried many cycling shoes but i like these so far. My toes are very square and these fit much better because of the shape. My feet are very flat and when i got the shoes the arch was poking straight into my foot and they were unusable. But after many heat moldings they fit great

I ordered these because someone I know has an older version and they are almost the only shoes that come in wide. I got them and molded them 2 times. They are not wide, they are actually more narrow than my normal width shimano shoes. In addition the laces are really hard to release on one side. Unfortunately, these shoes are also prohibitively expensive to send back, so now I am stuck with them.

I own both the Riot+ and Riot+ MTB in 40.5 wide fit. With Sole Performance thin cork heat moldable insoles, these are the most comfortable cycling shoes I have ever worn. Both are true to size for my moderately wide feet and fit extremely well after heat molding with the cork insole, which is thicker and provides far more support than the included insole (more below). The shoes are surprisingly cool for being non-mesh, and the velcro and BOA closures work well for dialing in the fit. It would be nice to have a slightly wider tongue and for the BOA closure to allow loosening in increments instead of all-or-none, but it takes only a few extra moments to get things dialed in before jumping on the bike. For both pairs of shoes, I used the original insole as a template for trimming the cork insole then substituted the cork for the original and followed the Bont instructions to heat mold the shoes. Afterwards, I followed the Sole instructions to heat mold the cork insoles inside the Riot+ shoes. I wore Sidi for years, and while they were good, the Riot+ shoes with heat molding, combined with cork insoles, are a whole other level of fit and comfort. I already have and will continue to recommend these shoes to friends.

It's my first pair of road shoes. I've used them for 3 months without putting them in the oven. So far, the only discomfort I had was when I was walking down the stairs. I'll bake them do it. Otherwise, I'm doubtful about the kind-of lateral positioning of the BOA. It seems to me like a central one would offers more accuracy. Not that it's been a problem, I'm just wondering if it's an optimal usage of this technology. Never had any problem with breathability, comfort or anything while biking.

After going through the process of tracing (and retracing) my feet and getting a recommendation from a Bont representative, I have to limit my rides to 45 minutes or less because that's how long before my foot pain is too excruciating to tolerate anymore. And this is only wearing the few pairs of socks that I can squeeze into the shoes. At this price point and given the amount of time I spent before purchase, I had hoped for better.

Breathable, stiff but comfy, tights evenly around the feet and good for every terrain and weather!! Love them so much! I highly recommend!!

Em geral gosto de tudo embora ainda não tenha conseguido molda-los bem aos meus pés. Penso que poderiam e deviam ser mais ventilados pois é fácil aquecer os pés mas ao contrário não é possível. Também acho que faltam meios tamanhos , no meu caso um EU 43 1/2 , faz toda a diferença.Também, não sei porque razão não consigo que os cleats fiquem no sítio que preciso ,não consigo alinhar a linha dos metatarsos com o centro dos cleats ...
