The shoes are true to size the factory measurement. I don't know how I could have avoided ordering sizes 44.5 and 45. My feet were right between the two sizes. Web site wrote correctly that it is advisable to choose the larger one. Also, that 0.5 cm must be added to the given actual sole size. All manufacturers number differently...perhaps the centimeter (JAPAN size) or the US size is the best reference point. I'm thinking about an ASIA FIT model maybe is better. Riot only normal and wide size. I bougt only normal size, wide is not available the buying time. My new ALTRA running shoes, size is EU 44,5=US10,5 my feet are now 28 cm in actual length. The width of my feet is 10.5 cm. My Bont size is EU45.So much for sizing. The shell structure of the shoe, which is carbon and hugs the foot, has not yet been thermoformed, but it still fits better. It would be easier to shape the shoe with a cleat, because now the position of the cleat is different than with my previous shoes. Maybe it would be nice to have a model where there is not a carbon shell, but leather at the most sensitive point of the leg. It would be best if BONT shoes could be tried on live for everyone :-) I think the gambling factor of ordering shoes online is high. And the actual comfort is only revealed while cycling. BONT was a pleasant surprise for me, so I think I will stay with the brand, but with an Asian cut. Bont support is a great! Alex is a be(a)st! :-) I wrote so many letters, he is always answer day and night!

Very confortabile and trendy Very satisfied. Please put some new offers Ciao Paolo
I've been wearing the Riots for a few hundred miles now and think they're great. Heat molding takes time and patience, I used the Bont measuring method and went up one size to be safe and am glad I did. The shoes look good and stay looking good, easy to wipe off any road spray.
I was introduced to Bont due to involvement in speed skating then I noticed a few track and time trial cyclist wearing them. When I first explored the website I was mainly looking for shoes to wear for track cycling and time trial use. I decided since this was my first pair of Bonts I would take it safe and stay very budget friendly. I decided to purchase the Riots. When they arrived I hear molded them to my feet and installed the cleats. One thing I did notice is that after heat molding the cleat fasteners shifted in the shoe and made it difficult to mount the cleats. I had to press the bolts back down in the holes from the inside of the shoes. I have ridden with them a hand full of times and they are very comfortable. All in all I would say a great purchase, when the time comes I will upgrade the Riots with another pair of bonts.
I had to return 2 different pairs as the width was too narrow for my size.
Second pair of Bonts. Will never buy anything else. Form fitting makes a huge difference in comfort and sole offers maximum power transfer.

NEW SIZING METHOD
To find your Bont Cycling shoe size, download and print our all-new sizing page in A4 or Letter and follow the instructions exactly as listed. Mark with a straight edge your longest toe and widest part of your foot. Double check the length and width with a ruler to confirm your measurements. Be advised, this is a newly developed sizing page so please send any feedback to our team by clicking the red 'speech bubble' in the corner of the page.
To find your size, place a piece of paper on a flat surface and place it directly up against a wall. Stand on the paper and ensure you have a 1mm gap between your heel and the wall. Plant your foot firmly on the ground and slowly roll your weight forward and onto the forefoot. For the most effective longest toe measurement, your heel should lift off the ground slight. Look down and take the measurement from the wall edge of the paper to your longest toe. Record the length. With your foot still in place, mark the widest points of the inner and outer edges of your feet. Measure the width across the widest part of your foot and record the number in millimeters. Repeat this step for both feet.
Once the measurements have been taken, use the Foot Length Range on the size chart to find your size. The Last Length measurements shown on the chart are the exact length of the last that we use to build the shoes. This correlates to the precise internal measurement of the shoe.
Following selection of your size in EU or USA, move downward to select the most appropriate width. We recommend adding 1mm to find the most appropriate width. For example, you are looking at a Vaypor S and have determined your best shoe size is 45 and your feet measure 105mm (left) and 107mm (right) wide, with an additional 1mm added, you would still fit within the Standard Range. If your feet measure wide than 109/110mm (size 45/10.5) you should consider Wide fit.
NOTE: The stated size width range does not reflect the actual width of the shoe. Bont Cycling shoes are designed with structural support throughout the entire length including the forefoot and as such, the measured shoe width is designed to appropriately support the foot within the shoe. The width of the shoe will almost always be narrower than your foot which is intentional in order to provide the necessary support.
Please also keep in mind Bont Cycling shoes are designed around an anatomically correct last suitable for cycling however, this does not mean they are built in the 'bare foot' running shoe style.
