              One of the best.

Posted by George on 17th Mar 2023

I have been involved in cycling in one form or another for well over 40 years. For a very long time I was a SiDi guy, like for decades. Anyway after purchasing some used Bont's and noticing just how comfortable they were I bit the bullet and paid the money for a new pair To say satisfied would be an understatement. They are a great shoe with an amazing fit. The one gripe I do have is like many other premium shoes they do not come with a premium insole. For the price of these shoes they should come with some level of premium insole.

              Amazing Shoe

Posted by Chris Crowder on 18th Oct 2021

Couldn’t be happier. Fit right out of the box. No need for me to mold them. Wide toe box feels stable. I was afraid it would feel too loose and not secure. However that is not the case. Heel cup is also secure without pinching. Beautifully put together. Definitely worth the investment.

Hard to get sizing with Bont policy

Posted by Chris on 29th Sep 2021

I like these shoes a lot and wear wide shoes in other brands. In this brand It may take an extra wide to be comfortable, but I didn't figure this out for a few hours on my trainer with these shoes. So now I am left with the choice of eating the cost of $370+ dollar shoes and ordering another pair, or just living with them not being comfortable for long stretches. May just switch brands to ones with a better return policy.....

              unacceptable

Posted by P Norton on 23rd Mar 2021

The picture of the bottom of shoe are inaccurate on 4 hole version. The base where speed play pedal attaches is completely flat, which seems like a good thing except you feel the pedal through the cleat and shoe creating pain. Speedplay makes a baseplate but is paper thin and doesn't help. Bont told me too bad. Can't return. I have had the shoes for months and can't find a solution. I have a pair of Vaypors which I love but these are unacceptable.

              Awesome cycling shoes

Although I’ve only been on a few rides with my new Bonts (mainly due to weather), these shoes are the bomb! Very stiff, very comfortable, with plenty of room in the toe box for my wide feet. Love the dual Boas! Had my LBS install the cleats and even he was impressed with the stiffness and overall quality. Would highly recommend!

              Tight, but perfect fit

Posted by JPR on 18th Jan 2021

Initially, I couldn’t manage to insert my foot in as I would normally do for my previous shoes, i.e. to put my foot straight in. Due to its design, I had to rotate my foot for about 45° to comfortably fit in. In my case (46-Wide), the fit is tight, that is there are about 4-5mm of room at the top. However, the shoes are wide enough so that my toes face straight ahead. Once attached, my foot doesn’t move at all. The heat molding made the shoe more confortable. It’s very impressive!

              Excellent for wide feet

Posted by Jennifer Sharp on 22nd Dec 2020

If you have wide feet and don't want to spend a ton on custom shoes, the Vaypor S in wide fit may be the answer. I need a wide shoe for my bunions and this shoe does the trick. The stiff sole allows for direct power transfer and the boa enclosure system is amazing. I experienced little to no break-in period. I like these shoes so much, I've ordered additional pairs and will be ordering a mountain bike version soon!

              Vaypor S

Posted by Gregg on 6th Nov 2020

Comfortable shoes I was able to get wide gives me roomy toe box. They are stif and have good power transfer. The only thing I don’t like is wrap over closure. I have to really open the shoe up to get my foot in and make sure the inner flap lays flat. They do adjust nicely and stay in place.

              Best Ever

I’ve worn SWorks and S Phyres for years. My Vaypor S in wide are by far the best shoes I ever owned.
