In 2016 I won my first national title on a pair of Bont Blitz road shoes. Since then I was on a team with several shoe sponsors. I’ve ridden almost everything from S-Works to Shimano, and none of them compare to my Vapor S shoes. Not only are they the lightest shoes I’ve ever worn, they are also the most comfortable because I can make them super personal and heat mold them to my feet. If you demand style while riding, you need these shoes. If you demand comfort, you need these shoes. If you demand the same stiffness that the pros do, you need these shoes. Do you happen to demand all three? Then these comfortable, fast, art pieces, will be the best purchase you will have ever made.
I have battled cramped toes and hot spots my whole career but have finally found the perfect fitting shoe in the Viper S. The heat molding treatment was so easy and enabled me to widen the shoe in the places I needed more space and tighten the shoe where I wanted a snugger fit. While comfort and performance are of utmost importance in a shoe, thanks to the custom color team they are stylish too!
Any serious racer needs to give these shoes a try. Incomparable power transfer from the stiff sole makes these cycling shoes a must have. After years of wearing shoes that felt so cramped and too narrow, I’m happy to say that not only do these perform well but they provide lasting comfort on even the most grueling of rides/races.
I was fortunate to be introduced to Bont shoes over 10 years ago and haven’t ridden any other shoe since. Super comfortable, stiff, and lightweight. Well worth the investment!!
The VayporS is my favorite cycling shoe. The shape of the toe box has been monumental in staying comfortable on the bike, allowing my toes to lay naturally instead of feeling cramped together. SUPER STIFF sole, while still being comfortable. The stiff sole makes a noticeable difference in power transfer!
I have been using this specific model of Bont shoes for about 4 years now as a professional road racer. The fit is easy to adjust via the heat molding process, and I can always end up with a perfect fit. Durability is extremely good, the only reason I set up new shoes is due to crash damage, or if they have finally become cosmetically blemished. After initial set up and wear in of the uppers, I get thousands of trouble free miles from these shoes.
I’ve spent most of my career spending money on shoes that never fit me properly, that is until I received these shoes in the mail. Total game changer because they left no gaps where my feet might rub. No hot spots, no problem!
I ordered my Vaypor S shoes after having ordered a pair of zero+ for the track and loving them. Ordered a semi custom pair and have nothing but good things to say. Great shoes that have everything I’ve dished out. Super stiff, great power transfer and comfortable. This is my first pair with the Boa closer and I’ve had no issues. No hot spots and just a good solid feel. I highly recommend them and definitely talk to a rep if possible, to get your needs met. When I’m ready for new shoes I’m definitely ordering another pair....without question!

NEW SIZING METHOD
To find your Bont Cycling shoe size, download and print our all-new sizing page in A4 and follow the instructions exactly as listed. Mark with a straight edge your longest toe and widest part of your foot. Double check the length and width with a ruler to confirm your measurements. Be advised, this is a newly developed sizing page so please send any feedback to our team by clicking the red 'speech bubble' in the corner of the page.
To find your size, place a piece of paper on a flat surface and place it directly up against a wall. Stand on the paper and ensure you have a 1mm gap between your heel and the wall. Plant your foot firmly on the ground and slowly roll your weight forward and onto the forefoot. For the most effective longest toe measurement, your heel should lift off the ground slight. Look down and take the measurement from the wall edge of the paper to your longest toe. Record the length. With your foot still in place, mark the widest points of the inner and outer edges of your feet. Measure the width across the widest part of your foot and record the number in millimeters. Repeat this step for both feet.
Once the measurements have been taken, use the Foot Length Range on the size chart to find your size. The Last Length measurements shown on the chart are the exact length of the last that we use to build the shoes. This correlates to the precise internal measurement of the shoe.
Following selection of your size in EU or USA, move downward to select the most appropriate width. We recommend adding 1mm to find the most appropriate width. For example, you are looking at a Vaypor S and have determined your best shoe size is 45 and your feet measure 105mm (left) and 107mm (right) wide, with an additional 1mm added, you would still fit within the Standard Range. If your feet measure wide than 109/110mm (size 45/10.5) you should consider Wide fit.
NOTE: The stated size width range does not reflect the actual width of the shoe. Bont Cycling shoes are designed with structural support throughout the entire length including the forefoot and as such, the measured shoe width is designed to appropriately support the foot within the shoe. The width of the shoe will almost always be narrower than your foot which is intentional in order to provide the necessary support.
Please also keep in mind Bont Cycling shoes are designed around an anatomically correct last suitable for cycling however, this does not mean they are built in the 'bare foot' running shoe style.
