NOTE: DO NOT MATCH US/EU/UK SIZING OF WHAT YOU WEAR NOW.t
All Bont Cycling shoes have a 'bathtub' shape carbon sole and you will need more length at the front of the shoe, compared to what you wear now.
Avoid the difficulty in measuring your feet and instead use our proven Brand Comparison tool as a starting point. Can't find your shoe brand listed? Read on.
CHECK YOUR SIZE LABEL
Match up the CM or JP number found on the size label of your cycling shoes to our Internal Shoe Length number shown in millimetres. This number is the length of the shoe.
Matching up these numbers will give you the same shoe size as you are wearing now. If your shoes are a few years old or your toes touch the front of the shoe, they are too short and you should go up one size – as per our size chart.
PRINT SIZING PAGE
To find your Bont Cycling shoe size, download and print our all-new sizing page in A4 or US Letter and follow the instructions exactly as listed. Stand barefoot, mark with a straight edge your longest toe and widest part of your foot. Double check the length and width with a ruler to confirm your measurements.
You can also try our Brand Comparison tool, designed to compare your current cycling shoes to the most appropriate size in Bont Cycling shoes. Be advised, you should still note the width of both feet to determine the best fit.
NO PRINTER?
- Take a piece of plain paper on a flat surface and place it directly up against a wall.
- Stand on the paper (barefoot) and place your heel gently against the wall. Push down firmly with your foot and mark the widest points of your foot. Record the width.
- Push down on your foot and place weight onto your toes. Your heel should lift off the ground. Mark the position of your longest toe and step off the paper.
- Record the measurement from the edge of the paper to you longest toe
- Repeat this step for both feet.
- Use the Foot Length Range on the size chart to find your size.
Example: Your feet measure 278mm in length (barefoot) so you should consider size 45/10.5.
CHECK YOUR WIDTH
- Take your width measurement and add 2-3mm to find the most appropriate shoe width based on our experience.
- For example, you are looking at a Vaypor SL and your shoe size is US 10.5 / EU 45 and your feet measure 103mm (left) and 105mm (right) wide, with an additional 2mm added, you would still fit within the Standard Range.
WIDTH TIPS: Getting the correct width is not easy, even with accurate measurements as every foot is shaped and 'built' differently but our recommendations are based on 20-plus years of experience.
If your current cycling shoes feel narrow or your are having issues with pain or numbness in your current shoes (cycling or casual), considering wide fit. This may seem too wide based on your measurements but extra width may let your feet sit more comfortably inside the shoe.
NOTE: The width range does not equal the width of the shoe but we make this recommendation so your foot is comfortably supported.
We do not offer bare foot style shoes but rather design cycling shoes around the shape of a human foot.

The world’s first time trial-specific shoe, the Bont Cycling Crono MK2 is the second generation designed to go even faster than its predecessor – the original deemed illegal by UCI for use in competition and sanctioned events because it was too fast! The Crono MK2 represents the pinnacle of Bont Cycling's performance-based lineup and is designed for pure unadulterated speed.
Aerodynamic testing has always been about the relationship between rider and machine but at Bont Cycling, the thought of covering shoes with a simple bootie or 'aero' sock felt like a solution to a challenge that demanded a better answer.
The Crono MK2 takes one of the fastest moving objects on the bike – your feet – and transforms it into one of the most effective air-slicing pieces of equipment you can acquire without stepping into a wind tunnel. Of course, the Crono MK2 is about far more than just aerodynamics and is backed by Bont Cycling's renowned power-transfer platform and pure anatomical design. The result is a product that utilizes more than 40 years of high-performance shoe manufacturing, feedback from the sport's very best athletes across every major discipline and blends it into one pair of seriously fast cycling shoes.
