Fast, light and hot

I have been wearing Bont for a while, but these are by far the best. Snug fit on the feet helps be go faster and faster with each pedal stroke and they are a comfortable enough weight that you forget they are on. They also look great on and off the bike!

Only cycling shoe I’ll buy now

A friend that I ride with told me that Bont was an excellent cycling shoe and I decided to give them a try. I’m very happy with the fit and look and will only be purchasing Bont cycling shoes now. The Vapor S has a great style and when you get the shoe heat molded a couple times there is no going back to any other cycling shoe.

Almost perfect shoes

Size is on the large size I selected size 8 or 42, it turns out slighter larger than my Rapha shoes. Base carbon is super stiff White material is durable, stains can be cleaned easily with wet cloths Front bumper does really protect front end of shoes Overall is a damn good shoes I would buy another pair of different model from Bont

Bomb proof sole

I am not in love with the aesthetics, but this shoe has the stiffest sole I have ever worn, which translates to more power put into the pedals. I like that a lot. There has been some rubbing by my ankle (since baking them) so I am not sure if that will go away or they need to be re-baked. It's not terrible.

I had worn sidi shoes since 1983. I have had multiple pairs of bont track cycling shoes, and decided to finally try their road shoes. I often ask myself why I waited so long. There's no comparison for me to my sidi carbon wire air's. The vapor s is simply a better shoe for me. Lighter, and more comfortable. It took me 3 times to get them molded to my feet, but that it definitely worth it. Try them. You won't be disappointed.

Yes, very good, but I knocked a star off because of thr awkwardness of squeezing my foot in and the stiffness around the ankle cut-out. That turned out to be the toungue on my first ride, but it remains fussy. Once everything is lined up they're almost great. Maybe I'm unreasonable, my Sidis were more comfy but heavier. Yes, I'd recommend them.

I have been using the bont Vapor S for 6 months. From the first day I noticed how incredibly stiff the shoes are, the shoe to pedal power transfer is next to none compared to other shoe brands. The ability to beat mould the shoe is an incredible feature and allows for a perfect fit when setting up your shoes and definitely recommend doing this process. I did receive some blisters originally for a short period of time but does not last long before the shoes feel like home every time you put them on. The Vapor S is a perfect all round shoe for many disciplines and is incredibly versatile.

Perfect for all!

I have really enjoyed using the oven treatment to make my Bonts feel like an extension of my body. You can make them fit how ever you want, and they are insanely comfortable thanks to this, I don't think any shoe offers it in such a way Bont does. Hard to find a shoe that is this stiff and comfortable. The only issue is they look so good I stare at them when I should be looking where I am going!

NEW SIZING METHOD

To find your Bont Cycling shoe size, download and print our all-new sizing page in A4 or Letter and follow the instructions exactly as listed. Mark with a straight edge your longest toe and widest part of your foot. Double check the length and width with a ruler to confirm your measurements. Be advised, this is a newly developed sizing page so please send any feedback to our team by clicking the red 'speech bubble' in the corner of the page.

ORIGINAL

To find your size, place a piece of paper on a flat surface and place it directly up against a wall. Stand on the paper and ensure you have a 1mm gap between your heel and the wall. Plant your foot firmly on the ground and slowly roll your weight forward and onto the forefoot. For the most effective longest toe measurement, your heel should lift off the ground slight. Look down and take the measurement from the wall edge of the paper to your longest toe. Record the length. With your foot still in place, mark the widest points of the inner and outer edges of your feet. Measure the width across the widest part of your foot and record the number in millimeters. Repeat this step for both feet.

Once the measurements have been taken, use the Foot Length Range on the size chart to find your size. The Last Length measurements shown on the chart are the exact length of the last that we use to build the shoes. This correlates to the precise internal measurement of the shoe.

Following selection of your size in EU or USA, move downward to select the most appropriate width. We recommend adding 1mm to find the most appropriate width. For example, you are looking at a Vaypor S and have determined your best shoe size is 45 and your feet measure 105mm (left) and 107mm (right) wide, with an additional 1mm added, you would still fit within the Standard Range. If your feet measure wide than 109/110mm (size 45/10.5) you should consider Wide fit.

NOTE: The stated size width range does not reflect the actual width of the shoe. Bont Cycling shoes are designed with structural support throughout the entire length including the forefoot and as such, the measured shoe width is designed to appropriately support the foot within the shoe. The width of the shoe will almost always be narrower than your foot which is intentional in order to provide the necessary support.

Please also keep in mind Bont Cycling shoes are designed around an anatomically correct last suitable for cycling however, this does not mean they are built in the 'bare foot' running shoe style.
